and Omega was actually meant as a reference to Marilyn Manson's Mechanical Animals album in which half of the songs on the album were played from the perspective of a fictional band called Omega and the Mechanical Animals, an homage to Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.
